A New Pair of Feet That Will Walk on the FIRE Path Beside Us

Mr. Enchumbao

I work for a large investment management company helping people save for traditional retirement. During my spare time, I help others save for financial independence and early retirement by writing for Enchumbao. My journey to FI began in 2012. I was in a lot of debt back then, but I turned things around and became debt free a few years later. My wife and I reached financial independence in 2017 and are preparing to retire by 2020.

So happy for your growing family! You can tell in your post how much love is present and that will overcome any obstacles that may come your way. A child is the best gift any of us can ask for and I know you’ll take great care of Chica Libre!

    • Thanks Joe! We have some good nights where she sleeps a good 6 hours and not so great nights where she gets bloated and is up most of it. It’s getting better though. We learned early on that when it’s past 9 PM and she’s sleeping, we need to drop what we’re doing and get ready for bed because you just don’t know what kind of night you’re going to get.
The toughest part for me is that the 4th quarter is the roughest time at work and it gets really challenging dealing with all of it at the same time. Mrs. Enchumbao took six months off so that alleviates it a bit. I’m looking forward to reading most of your post on parenting.

BTW, I love the new logo. Thanks for stopping by.
